Our centers and program office would like to have electronic tools that help us monitor our activity levels, both in terms of number and types of students contacted, as well as communities touched so that we are able to more effectively and systematically cover our region over a given period of time.
For example, without such a tool, we have to go back by hand and match calendars with P tables to identify which communities were not served in the past (whatever the time frame). After an extensive hand-work process, we've found that there have been a few communities that didn't receive an AHEC touch in over a year--something that we remedied once we became aware of it.
A tool that allows us to monitor this on a regular basis would help us to more effectively engage our communities and schools.
