To subscribe or unsubscribe to email alerts for forum postings: after logging in, go to any forum page and click on my settings at the top of the page, scroll down to the plus sign (+) by tracking/subscription and click on the plus to open. You will see folders with check boxes, click on the folders to open up the threads. You must check the box for a particular thread(s) and then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Update". To unsubscribe uncheck the box before a thread and click "Update". Only check the boxes for the individual threads, checking the boxes for the folders will not subscribe you.

List of various certifications that some placements are requiring linked to the B-100:

  • CPR - current training
  • Background check complete with acceptable findings
  • TB test results
  • Ethics - ethical behavior education
  • HIPPA /PHI compliance review
  • Infection Control - Policies and Procedures for infection control, needle stick, and blood borne pathogen
  • Dress Code
  • Liability Insurance
  • Medical Insurance

TO ALL CBE COORDINATORS:

Please elaborate on the items listed above.  Is this a function that all coordinators need?  Do you want these questions added to the B100 for the students to answer?

We don't necessarily NEED all those all the time, but occasionally, some sites will require those items.  Either way, it would be nice to have the info on-hand.

Since UTHCT is requiring all of the items listed - it may just be a matter of time until more of the sites require this type of information. If we (AHEC) can be pro-active in collecting it will assist when we have sites that require this type of documentation for student placement.
