About iAHEC

is a web resource designed by Texas Area Health Education Center (AHEC) East staff for electronic data collection and reporting of all "AHEC touches."  Its design provides a secure, easy to use web-based information portal that encourages daily activity entry and ensures accurate and up-to-date data accessible on demand. All three Texas AHEC programs have been involved in the creation and implementation of this project.  

data collection portion allows for the capturing of our activities and efforts including contact information, promotions activities, community-based education experiences, practice entry & support activities, partnerships, health literacy projects and community health system activities.

generates reports of our efforts in standard federal, state and regional reporting formats and in customized reporting formats to facilitate tasks performed by AHEC program staff (example: mailing addresses exportable for merging with letters for participants/students/hospitals etc). Data can be queried using multiple filters such as center, county, program and other variables for individually customized reports.
